Whats in the Fridge?
Tonight seems to have become one of those nights...you know the ones. the ones where you stay up late editing photos and walking too and from the fridge, checking to see if something delicious has materialised between you last fridge check and now?
As it so happens, nothing has. i just discovered some coleslaw on my last check which i never noticed on any of the other checks, why couldn't it have been something good!? i mean, who eats coleslaw? its vile.

Difference Between Men and Women
Facts and Figures:
During the process of shooting my images for this project, I had to go out on the street gathering portraits of individuals that I came across while walking around the town. To obtain the portrait for each person I had the approach them and explain who I was, ask if I could take their portrait and then explain why I was taking their portrait. On studying my final images it may be noticeable to the viewer that all the individuals in the images are male, this is because of all the females who’s portraits I asked to take, there wasn’t a single one who gave me their permission to take their photography and this made me think. Could there be an actual reason why the men seemed more compliant than the women?
My aim now is to find facts and figures that may support my suggestion that it may be a psychological difference between the two genders that may have lead to my images coming out the way they did, rather than it being entirely down to the personalities and characteristics of the people that I approached when shooting.
It is said that Men are more intelligent than women, on average by about five IQ points.

While men and women can reach similar conclusions and make similar decisions, the process they use can be quit different and in some cases can lead to entirely different outcomes. In general, men and women consider and process information differently.
Women tend to be intuitive global thinkers. They consider multiple sources of information within a process that can be described as simultaneous, global in perspective and will view elements in the task in terms of their interconnectedness. Women come to understand and consider problems all at once. They take a broad or "collective" perspective, and they view elements in a task as interconnected and interdependent. Women are prone to become overwhelmed with complexities that "exist", or may exist, and may have difficulty separating their personal experience from problems.
Men tend to focus on one problem at a time or a limited number of problems at a time. They have an enhanced ability to separate themselves from problems and minimize the complexity that may exist. Men come to understand and consider problems one piece at a time. They take a linear or sequential perspective, and view elements in a task as less interconnected and more independent. Men are prone to minimize and fail to appreciate subtleties that can be crucial to successful solutions. A male may work through a problem repeatedly, talking about the same thing over and over, rather than trying to address the problem all at once.
While there are differences in the ways that men and women think, it must be emphasized that they can and do solve problems in a similar manner. There are no absolutes, only tendencies.’
Whilst the information found may not directly give an answer as to why the men where more helpful than the women but it does outline some of the main psychological difference of thought patterns which may have lead to the results that I obtained.

Strengths and Weaknesses.
Having brought together this project on Order and Chaos, I noticed there where some areas of the project that I was stronger in than others, therefore if I were to re-do this project there obviously would be things that I would have changed or may even done completely differently. I have listed my strengths and weaknesses as follows:
Strengths:
•Using my own equipment saved time and gave me more flexibility on times that I went out on shoots.
•The males that I asked to photograph all agreed to be photographed.
•When I photographed the range of shoes using the tabletop studio, I used a range of shoes similar to ones that the person in each photograph might have been wearing.
Weaknesses:
•Of all the females that I asked, none of them consented to having their photograph taken.
•When I went into the town to do my shoot I was limited for time due to failing light.
•IT would have been useful to have taken my flash diffuser out with me to avoid harsh flash light.
•Time management could have been better.
